Singing classes
Singing classes are held on Tuesday mornings from 10.30 am – 1.30 pm with a short break half way through the morning. Classes are run on a termly basis with a half term break. We currently have two musical directors who broadly alternate the classes:- Barry Jobling, a renowned professional singer, pianist and conductor, who concentrates on voice tuition and comes from a classical background and Stephen Daltry, who is a music tutor and also well known as a composer for film, TV and theatre. He brings in his own work for us to perform as well as arranging other material to suit our choir.
Prospective members may attend a singing class on a trial basis for free. The fee for each class is £9 and discounts are available for those who block book to attend the whole term.
